ROAMIN’: A Summer Long Road Trip Through the Book of Romans

Summer is a great time for vacations and getaways - a great time for a road trip. This summer at Journey, we are taking a road trip through the book of Romans. The letter to the Romans, which was written by the Apostle Paul, is seen as the pinnacle of theology in the New Testament. It is a book that is rich with insight into our relationship with God and how Jesus Christ made that possible.

Across fourteen Sundays this summer we will be digging into the book of Romans and focusing on practical application for our lives. We’re going in a road trip that’s taking us somewhere. Here are some of the ways that we want to help you grow in your faith this summer:

SUNDAYS @ 10 AM

Every Sunday, from June 1 - August 31, we will be learning from the book of Romans as we worship together. We encourage you to join us in-person at Journey to grow as a community. We also stream our service live every Sunday morning.

DAILY DEVOTIONS IN ROMANS

For our summer series, Roamin’, we are providing a devotional to help you grow personally as you read and reflect on the book of Romans. Each day you will take a few minutes to read part of a chapter in Romans, along with some reading in Psalms and Proverbs from the Old Testament,. Then you can write down some practical thoughts about it in the devotional. These devotionals will be available at Journey beginning on Sunday, May 25th. If you would like us to send you a physical copy of our Roamin’ Devotional, please send us and email with your address and we will gladly send you one. We will also provide a PDF version of the devotional on our site.

DAILY VIDEO DEVOTIONS

To help you to learn and grow from Romans this summer, we are providing daily video devotionals to encourage you and challenge you to dig into Romans for yourself. Each morning, we will release a video devotional based on that days reading. These videos will be released in our Journey E-Fam Group on Facebook (we’d love to have you join that group if you are not currently a part of it). We will also post it on our Journey Facebook page each day. Different members of our Journey family will be sharing what they are learning from Romans in these videos.
